The Rev. Canon Dr. Scot McKnight

Scot McKnight, a professor of New Testament at Northern Seminary (Lisle, Illinois), was ordained by Bishop Todd Hunter to the Diaconate in Churches for the Sake of Others, a segment of Anglican Churches of North America. He and Kris are active in their church, Church of the Redeemer. He is author of more than sixty books, including The Jesus Creed, The King Jesus Gospel and Kingdom Conspiracy, along with commentaries on the Sermon on the Mount, Galatians, Colossians, Philemon, and 1 Peter. He and Kris grew up together in northwest Illinois and have two children, both of whom with their spouses and grandchildren attend Church of the Redeemer.
