Preparations for the 2026 Winter Clothing Drive

Redeemer’s 2026 Winter Clothing Drive is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, November 7th from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.  We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Oak Terrace School and the Highwood Public Library & Community Center to make this event a success. We are also working on collecting items throughout the year to ensure we have all the items needed for our neighbors. Here are some opportunities to consider:

Clearance items! Keep an eye out for winter coats, boots, hats and gloves, many of which are on clearance sale now! You can send items purchased online to the church directly (107 Highwood Avenue, Highwood, IL 60040) or drop them off at the church office. We have also created a list of needed items on an Amazon wishlist, updated periodically here.

Used Items: If you have used winter clothing or boots in good condition that you no longer need, please consider donating them to the winter clothing drive. We can use winter coats, snow pants, winter boots, hats, mittens, and scarves in children and adult sizes. These can be dropped off at the church office anytime, and we will have a dropboxes in future months.

Storage Space: As we collect more items, we are in need of a bit more space for storage. If you have space in your home and would be willing to hold on to some items until the fall, please reach out to Heather at the church office.
