WINTER
CLOTHING
DRIVE

A big ‘Thank You” to all who participated in one way or another in our recent winter clothing drive and distribution.

We received a large increase in the amount of clothing and financial support over last year’s event, enabling us to serve around 85 families affiliated with Oak Terrace School and other local Highwood schools.  Special thanks go to Jenni McCarthy and her team who really put in a great effort organizing and distributing clothing over two days. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve in Jesus’ name, and our location in the center of the community will open doors for further connection going forward.

In the coming year, we invite you to consider stocking up on winter clothing items in all sizes when you see them on sale, in preparation for next year’s drive!

Here’s a personal note from Jenni:

Dear Redeemer Community,

I want to express my sincere gratitude for your generosity towards the winter clothing distribution, both to those who donated and those who volunteered. Each item donated was given away, and each dollar was spent with care. We were able to help many families whose desperate need was very real. What a joy to watch little faces light up at colorful coats and boots that fit, knowing that they will be warm this winter. What heartache when we were faced with needs we could not meet. It is a small step towards getting to know this community, which we have prayed for for such a long time. I am thankful for each of you who helped make this endeavor a reality.
