Well, here we are, headed out again on this long-standing cross continental relationship with Rwanda. Over the next two weeks we’ll post information on our visit, sights and maybe some sounds, and reflections on what it means. Right now, after many months of leading a major transition at Redeemer, I’m planning to spend a long weekend in a place that hasn’t moved much in 1,500 years. Canterbury Cathedral is the ‘mother church ‘ of the Anglican world, and has been a place of pilgrimage and refuge since 597. My time will be spent in worship (several services a day), some reading and reflection, and long walks. I may even make it to the sea, just a few miles away. My hope is for some refreshing before I meet up with Ethan and Katie on Monday to fly into Rwanda.
So I may not post anything for a few days, but check back from time to time to see how things are progressing. Thank you for your prayers as we journey into the heart of our Rwandan partnership–a true God-given grace.
