Annual Winter Clothing Drive & Distribution

Church of the Redeemer, in partnership with the Highwood Library & Community Center and Oak Terrace School, will be hosting its 2026 Winter Clothing Distribution on Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. This community-wide event is made possible through our dedicated volunteers, generous contributions, and strong community partnerships. There’s a place for everyone to get involved!

All donated items go directly to families in need from Highwood and Highland Park.

How You Can Help

Donate: September 8 – October 16

• Contribute new or gently used winter gear—coats, hats, mittens, scarves, boots, and even blankets—for children (ages 2+) through adults. Teen and adult items are especially needed this year.

• Drop donations in the collection boxes at:

  • Church of the Redeemer (107 Highwood Avenue, Highwood, IL)

  • Highwood Public Library & Community Center (102 Highwood Avenue, Highwood, IL)

  • Oak Terrace Elementary School (240 Prairie Avenue, Highwood, IL)
  • Highwood City Hall (17 Highwood Avenue, Highwood, IL)

• Purchase new items from our Amazon Wish List.

• Make a financial gift by designating “Winter Clothing” via Zelle (to chredeemer@gmail.com) or by check payable to Church of the Redeemer.
