HIGHWOOD PRAYER WALK

When: June 5th at 10 a.m.

Where: The parking lot across from the church.

Who: Community Groups and others who would like to join in. All are invited and welcome!

What: This is an opportunity for us as a church to spend time together praying as we walk through the Highwood neighborhoods. We will follow the CDC guidelines and wear masks as required and practice social distancing. The idea is not to move as a mass on the sidewalks but to walk in pairs as we pray and share scripture. We can move through the line and pray with others in our groups as well. It is a time to listen to the Spirit, notice where we are, what is happening, and who is around us, praying as the Spirit leads. We will meet, rain or shine, so please dress appropriately, including comfortable shoes.

We will meet back after after 50 minutes and share before dispersing. You may want to extend your time together for fellowship over lunch at a local restaurant or in the park.

Please be in prayer about this day and bring scripture to share and pray as you are led. If someone is unable to attend for some reason, but would like to participate, encourage them to send a prayer or scripture card we can share on our walk and they can join in where they are.
